Børk The Berzerker Hack ‘N’ Slash Edition Introduction
Børk The Berzerker Hack ‘N’ Slash Edition is a video slot from Thunderkick with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed bet lines. Players can bet from €0.10 all the way up to €100 so it’s suitable for lowrollers to highrollers alike. This is a revamped version of the original which doesn’t exist anymore.
Børk is a crazy warrior capable of destroying all his enemies and the theme is inspired by Norse legends. The game looks and sounds like a cartoon with nice cut scenes, yet the developers didn’t go overboard with the visuals. All in all the game is quite basic in setup and gameplay.
There are 4 premium symbols represented by a girl and monsters, and the top symbol (the girl) will pay 50x for 5 across a payline. The low value symbols are represented by 3 different Norse letters. There is a wild symbol as well, which works as an expanding wild in both the main game and the bonus. In the main game the wild only appears on reel 3 while in the bonus it can appear on reel 2, 3 and 4.
Børk The Berzerker Hack ‘N’ Slash Edition is kind of medium variance with an RTP of 97.34%.
Børk The Berzerker Hack ‘N’ Slash Edition Features
As mentioned previously, the game is quite basic and doesn’t really involve any complicated features. The main attraction of the game is the bonus which is triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols anywhere on the reels. 3 bonus symbols will award 10 free spins, 4 bonus symbols awards 15 free spins and 5 bonus symbols will get you a 20 free spins start i the bonus.
In the bonus, the expanding wild appears on reel 2, 3 and 4 and together with the stacked symbols this can pay up to 2100 times the stake on a single spin.
Børk The Berzerker Hack ‘N’ Slash Edition Conclusion
Visually it is a very nice looking slot, but in our opinion it’s not entertaining enough as it’s lacking in interesting features. The game simply doesn’t have anything new to offer there is no insane potential to make up for it.
Simplicity is fine if done right, but here it tends to get a bit dull and main game is just…meh. We can’t help to feel the main game would benefit from some kind of random feature since it plays pretty much the same as the bonus, except the bonus having the potential of a couple of extra wild reels.
This is likely one of those games that most players will give a go during a few sessions and if it doesn’t pay during that time they’re just going to move on.
Thunderkick have been going strong lately with great games such as Flame Busters, Pink Elephants and The Falcon Huntress, but this just seems lazy. But go ahead and give it a go and make up your own mind. Players tend to have very different opinions about slots after all.
